Our partners
At SPSJ, we have the privilege of working with so many different groups of people and organisations both from within and beyond our existing congregations. You can explore some of them below!
Kintsugi Hope
Kintsugi Hope is a charity based in the UK striving to make a difference to people's mental wellbeing.
"Kintsugi' (金継ぎ) is a Japanese technique for repairing pottery with seams of gold. The word means 'golden joinery'in Japanese. This repairs the brokenness in a way that makes the object more beautiful, and even more unique than it was prior to being broken.
At SPSJ, we have trained team members to deliver 6-12 week group with all ages, providing a safe and secure environment in which to explore mental wellbeing through practical tools in a facilitated peer mentoring style setting.

They aim to break the cycle of negative experience and behaviour that some young people face, helping them find hope and aspiration and enabling them to control the direction their own lives take. Close House can be found behind St Peter's Church- do get in touch with them below for more information!
Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain
In partnership with and funded by Herefordshire Council, and in partnership many local partners, we are doing our best to respond actively to the very distressing war that we are witnessing in Ukraine, and the displacement of people that it is causing.
To find out more about what we are doing in partnership and as part of our Ukrainian Project, check out our Ukrainian Response page.
